Remember when I talked about Uppercase Magazine here? Well, I received my very first copy on February 9th! Ben bought me a subscription as a birthday gift and I’ve been enjoying it immensely. It was almost too perfect that issue 12 would be my first. Not only was there a beautiful illustration of a pigeon on the cover, but Ben also gave me an old-fashioned globe and a majority of issue 12 is dedicated to paper art with maps and includes a lovely little story about globes. The design is just as artful as I imagined it would be and I love their choice of a thick matte paper.
