Uppercase Magazine: My First Issue!

Remember when I talked about Uppercase Magazine here? Well, I received my very first copy on February 9th! Ben bought me a subscription as a birthday gift and I’ve been enjoying it immensely. It was almost too perfect that issue 12 would be my first. Not only was there a beautiful illustration of a pigeon on the cover, but Ben also gave me an old-fashioned globe and a majority of issue 12 is dedicated to paper art with maps and includes a lovely little story about globes. The design is just as artful as I imagined it would be and I love their choice of a thick matte paper.

Friday Favourites #8

After a brief hiatus I have returned!

And I’ve collected some interesting things below for you to browse through over the weekend. Does anyone have any special plans? I will be getting my hair cut on tomorrow with my lovely friend Marissa and watching the Oscars on Sunday. I have no idea what I’ll get done. What about some bangs like this?

Have a relaxing weekend!
